Prom Dress Giveaway Happening in Warrick County on March 19 [Dress Donations Welcome]
Financial hardship is something that more of us are facing. It's a tough economy right now with the country still dealing with the post-pandemic inflation crisis. Just because things are tough on so many of us, doesn't mean you should be faced with having to sacrifice a teen's right of passage and forgo being able to make lasting memories with classmates and friends. Non-profit, Love 812 is making prom night possible for Southern Indiana high school girls.
Blessed with a Dress
Love the 812 is presenting a dress giveaway this year with the help of The Refuge Christian Church for all area teen girls who need a dress. Donations are still being taken for this event to help girls find their dream dresses that they might not otherwise get the chance to wear.
Love the 812 understands that a prom is an event that many girls spend their high school career dreaming and planning for, and doesn't want anyone to feel left out based on not being able to afford a dress. Shopping for this event started this weekend and is being held at the church. There is another event happening on March 19th from 1-3 PM at The Refuge Christian Church. The Refuge Christian Church is located at 8566 Telephone Rd Chandler, IN 47630. If you'd like to donate a dress, you can drop it off from 9-1 at the church on Sunday.
Dresses, shoes, and accessories have been donated. There are many current styles to choose from, in an assortment of sizes, styles, and colors. There is something for every girl's fashion taste. If you would like more information on this event please call, (812) 204-0711
