The app that has swept the globe has had a big impact on a little dog here in the Tristate. Let me introduce you to Rosco!

Natalie Scott

The Rob & I reported late last week about an animal shelter in Muncie, Indiana that was offering Pokemon GO players the chance to walk some of their shelter dogs while they train their Pokemon. Well, it seems that our own Warrick Humane Society is doing the same. In fact, we heard from one of our listeners, Natalie, who has visited the Warrick Humane Society on Vann Road in Newburgh to walk one of their special "Poke Dogs." Natalie took Rosco for a walk and shared her story on Facebook, where her friend who lives an hour away spotted Rosco and fell in love. On Saturday, Rosco went to his forever home!!! Thank you for sharing your story Natalie!

If you'd like to walk a Poke Dog, you can find the Warrick Humane Society on Facebook then head over to the shelter at 5722 Vann Rd, Newburgh.
