PokeMania has been sweeping across the Tri-State!  Even if you're not playing Pokemon Go, the smartphone app featuring characters from the classic Nintendo franchise, you've surely seen hordes of kids and grown-ups alike wondering the streets with their face buried firmly in their phones.  They're collecting Pokemon and adventuring to Pokestops delicately placed among Evansville's historic landmarks and places of interests.

Every member of the KISS-FM team is playing Pokemon Go!  The Rob, Kat Mykals, and Gavin have put together a list of their nine must-visit Pokestops throughout the Tri-State!

MAIN STREET CLOCK: Like many of my fellow Pokemon trainers, my hunting is centralized toward Downtown Evansville.  What I look for more than anything is a large number of Pokestops in a small area.  Make sure you hit the heart of Downtown, the clock on the Main Street Walkway!  Just a few steps in ANY direction will net you several more Pokestops!  Then by the time you've gotten all of those, it will be time to circle back and RE-COLLECT the Main Street Walkway Pokestop, wash, rinse, repeat, and farm again!

EMTRAC: A quick trip through the Emtrac station on Riverside Dr. right along the Riverfront houses FOUR Pokestops right there in the parking lot...  You don't even need to get out of your car!  It's also insanely close to a bevy of other clusters of Pokestops all along the Riverfront!  An added plus is that around lunchtime I almost ALWAYS see at least two of these Pokestops raining those sweet pink heart/petal things because someone has deployed a Lure Module.  Check them out and thank me later!

MASONIC TEMPLE: This Pokestop found at the corner of S.E. 3rd St. & Chestnut St. may initially seem a little out of the way considering how close it is to feeding frenzy that is Downtown Evansville and the Riverfront, but I ALWAYS swing by and collect this cluster of Pokestops on my home from work.  There's a small patch containing three, but with the annoying construction going on there, it's a road less traveled and I can snatch them all up without even exiting my vehicle!

EVOLUTION OF THE RIVERFRONT: The Riverfront in Evansville, is a great place to visit for Pokemon GO, in general. There are tons of Pokestops, a good mix of land & water-based Pokemon and there is always a ton of other Pokemon enthusiasts to share the experience with.

TREE OF KNOWLEDGE: If you're looking for a quiet, low-key place to catch Pokemon and refill your bag, check out the Tree of Knowledge art installation located inside Evansville's Central Library. Not only is the Tree of Knowledge a Pokestop, but it's a Pokestop inside a Pokestop - Central Library is a Pokestop too! Just be sure you use your library voice while you're hunting.

PIGEON CREEK GREENWAY AT SUNSET PARK: Since I like to multitask, this is another great Pokestop because there are a number of other stops very close by. As an added bonus, head down there on your lunch break, and several of them have lure modules running as well!

FOUNTAIN ON MAIN ST: I really like the Pokestop because it is on the way to several of the places I normally stop at for lunch. I can fill up my stomach and fill up my supplies in one trip!

CHILDREN'S MUSEUM OF EVANSVILLE: I really like this Pokestop because it is actually a two-for-one! Not only is there a Pokestop for CMOE, but there is also one for the Old Central Library Building, which is what existed before CMOE!

MILLIE THE DINOSAUR - DOWNTOWN:  Who doesn't want to refill Pokesupplies at the base of a giant T-Rex? Millie is the mascot of CMOE amd the closest Pokestop to work. Also, it holds the honor of being the first Pokestop The Rob and I ever used!
