Pigeon Forge Winterfest 2023

You can escape to a true winter wonderland this year in Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and Sevierville, where you will find millions of lights throughout the streets of the towns with elaborate displays that will leave you in awe. Winterfest is promised to be bigger and brighter in 2023 as they plan to have more than one million LED lights added to the city’s Winterfest displays and some will stand more than 25 feet tall. According to My Pigeon Forge:

The 20 new displays will include walk-thru arches, a colorful 52-foot-long caterpillar, larger-than-life flowers, and Old Man Winter. Vibrant snowflakes, shooting stars, snow people, and a 20-foot-tall ice fountain will light the way as deer, bears, frogs, and squirrels—ranging in size from 13 to 19 feet tall—frolic alongside the path while lights that mimic fireflies and butterflies dance in the trees overhead.

Here's a video from last year with a little idea of what you can expect in 2023.

Winterfest will be enchanting Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and Sevierville from November 9, 2023, until February 18, 2024. On top of the holiday light displays and shows during Winterfest, you can also experience the Wonders of Light Walking Trail. The Wonders of Light Walking Trail will feature nature-themed light displays along the city's Riverwalk

Winterfest will also include Wonders of Light Christmas Village, Winterfest Driving Tour of Lights, Dollywood’s Smoky Mountain Christmas, Christmas at Dolly Parton's Stampede, and Winterfest at The Island. You can learn more and plan your trip to Winterfest in the Smoky Mountains by clicking here.
