Owensboro Parks & Recreation Now Accepting Registrations For Both Summer Day Camps

The Owensboro Parks & Recreation Department is well known for its awesome Summer Day Camp programs.  They are now accepting registrations to two great camps!

Angel here.  I was the director of the Owensboro Parks & Recreation Day Camp for many years.  My older boys grew up at camp and loved every single adventure.

Summer Day Camp and Edge Ice Center Summer Camp.  Both summer camps will take May18-August 11 for ages 5-13.  These camps will be open Monday-Friday 7 a.m.-6 p.m.  There is also an early morning drop off available at 6:40 a.m. for $2 extra each day.  Breakfast, lunch, and two snacks are provided at both camps throughout the entire summer.

Day Camp Registration for new families will begin MONDAY, FEBRUARY 10. If you are interested do not wait to register spots are filling up. Reminder, all 5-year-olds must currently be attending kindergarten to sign up for either camp. Positions still available are:

Summer Day Camp
5-6: 16 spots
6-7: 8 spots
7-8: 7 spots
8-9: 1 spot
10-13: Full

To register you will need:
Day camp forms completely filled out, including the camper's signature on the rules sign off sheet, current immunization record, and payment for the first week of camp and registration fee.

Space is limited in each camp so get your child registered before it's too late!  The deadline to register is May 1.

These camps will create lasting memories your child will never forget!  My boys loved attending Summer Day Camp every year!
