I've always said I eat like a pig, and now I look like one. Kind of.

A few weeks ago I volunteered to let Evansville resident and special effects makeup artist, Cassandra Baker, make a plaster mold of my face after posting on Facebook that she needed a volunteer. The purpose of the mold was to serve as a base for a pig "mask" she needed to create for a music video being filmed in Owensboro in the near future. The whole process took roughly 30 to 40 minutes. As you can see in the video above, after the mold was complete, the next step was to fill it with plaster which took a few hours to harden. The final mold looks like this:

Pretty wild, right? Even though I see myself in the mirror every time I use a bathroom, seeing a near-perfect mold of my face is on a whole different level. It's really cool and kind of weird at the same time, if that makes sense.

Now that she had the mold, it was time to create the pig features for the mask. A process Cassandra shared on Facebook, and was nice enough to let me share here.

With the face set like she wanted, it was time to create a second mold that will eventually become the mask someone in this music video will wear on their face.

It is really crazy to see myself like that, even though it's not really me, but is in a way. I can't wait to see the finished product in the video!
