Melissa’s Guide To Facebook- 5 Unwritten (Until Now) Rules
We've all been guilty of at least one of these things...right?
- 1
Don't post your dirty laundry
As a general rule of thumb I think if I wouldn't want my grandma reading it, I don't post it.
- 2
A day play by play
We've all seen someone who is guilty of this "so and so is going tanning, then to the gym, then working until 11, and then drinks with my girls, then bed!"
Like we get it, we don't need to know what you're doing every moment of every day.
- 3
Calling someone VIA facebook messenger
One time I did actually do this because it was an emergency and I didn't have this person's number. But besides that, don't call someone on messenger, it's just weird, and it leaves me wondering what the heck that noise is that my phone is making.
- 4
Only sharing memes
We get it, the meme about a burrito being "BAE" really speaks to you, but you don't have to repost meme's with similar themes every single day...
- 5
Selling stuff, trying to win stuff, tagging me in unnecessary stuff
I get it, you want to sell your product, but if I want to buy, I'll have my people call your people. And stop tagging me to vote for you in contests you're entering, post it on facebook all you want, I can unfollow you, no problem, but tagging a thousand people is slightly obnoxious.
This rule is always broken by people you haven't spoken to in years...
