I had all sorts of feelings about the Super Bowl 52 halftime show...and not all of them were positive.

Listen, I like Justin Timberlake just as much as the next guy. I grew up thriving to N'Sync. I was excited to hear that he was performing in the Super Bowl halftime show, but my expectations just weren't met.

Let's recap for a moment. Justin has performed in the Super Bowl before, and he's killed it, so my hopes and dreams were high. On another note, many, many AMAZING artists have performed during the halftime show. Take those two and combine them, and you'll understand why I was expecting this to be a BIG SHOW.

The halftime show is probably one of the most anticipated performances of the year. No matter what genre of music you like, you always want to know who's performing. And, usually, no matter who it is, they bring the heat.

Justin Timberlake did not bring the heat. Sure, he's a performer and a great dancer, and I'll give him that...but we aren't at a Justin Timberlake concert...we're at the SUPER BOWL. That's when you're supposed to kick things up a notch.

Mind you, I loved all his song selections. He played all the hits from past and present and that was fantastic. I also really liked the part when he didn't sing and danced for a second, because he's a hell of a dancer. But other than that, the whole show was just kind of...eh.

Like I said, I like JT, I think he's a great artists and performer, but something was just missing. I think the Prince tribute was wonderful, but seemed odd coming from Justin Timberlake. I think that was supposed to be the "WOW!" moment, but it still didn't do it for me...no disrespect to Prince.

On the flip side, the Eagles won, which means the Patriots lost, which means we all win.

Well, even if you didn't ask for it, that's my opinion. What's yours?
