Join Hurricane Relief Effort During American Red Cross Telethon Thursday
As the water left behind by Hurricane Harvey finally begins to leave the Texas Gulf Coast and Louisiana regions, victims of the storm are slowly beginning to assess the damage to their homes and start the process of rebuilding their lives. A process you can help accelerate this Thursday during the Tri-State Cares Media-thon with the American Red Cross.
Beginning at 6:00 a.m. Thursday morning, and continuing throughout the day, we'll broadcast live with our friends at Eyewitness News from the Red Cross headquarters on the corner of Stockwell Road and the Lloyd Expressway asking you to join the relief effort by making either a monetary donation, or volunteering your time both locally and on the ground in Houston.
$10 donations can be made now by texting the word, HARVEY to 90999. If you'd like to donate more, you can call 812-471-7200 during the media-thon on Thursday, or simply click the Tri-State Cares logo below to make a secure donation through the Red Cross website.
