If You’re Not Ready for Christmas to End, You Can Still See Amazing Displays
It feels like we went straight from the West Side Nut Club Fall Festival to Christmas! Seriously, the month of December has flown by. There's a good chance that you didn't get to see all of the fabulous Christmas light displays in the Evansville, Indiana area.
So Much Work, So Little Time
If everyone just took down their Christmas lights the day after Christmas that would just be sad. So many neighborhoods have really gotten into the holiday spirit and it's hard to carve out enough time in the evenings to see them all at once.
Ritzy's Fantasy of Lights
Our friends at Easterseals Rehabilitation Center have already had over 10,000 cars drive through Ritzy's Fantasy of Lights. This amazing display in Garvin Park is in its 30th year, and it gets bigger and brighter each year. You can still visit now through January 1, 2024.
Carnival of Lights
The Vanderburgh 4-H Center's Carnival of Lights is still open nightly through January 2, 2024. This display is free to drive through, but donations are appreciated to keep the lights and Santa's workshop open each holiday season. Santa's workshop is closed because he is back at the North Pole.
Christmas Displays in One Convenient Interactive Map
Our friend Sean Owen is a huge fan of everything Christmas. Each year, his own outdoor Christmas display grows with more lights and more inflatables. Sean created the Facebook page Evansville Christmas Lights so that everyone can easily find the coolest displays. He has had over 160 houses submitted for the map!
