For more than a decade, WBKR Yard Parties have raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for nonprofits across the tristate while spotlighting organizations making a difference in our community. This week's WBKR Yard Party, sponsored by Rhoads & Rhoads, will benefit Friends of Sinners, and you're invited to grab some lunch, support an incredible mission, and spend your Friday with us!

WBKR Yard Party This Friday Will Benefit Friends of Sinners in Owensboro

Another WBKR Yard Party is almost here, and we'd love to see you Friday!

Join us this Friday, August 7th, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM on the front lawn at the WBKR studios, 3301 Frederica Street in Owensboro, for a hamburger-and-hot-dog fundraiser benefiting Friends of Sinners.

Friends of Sinners exists to help men and women overcome addiction, rebuild relationships, and discover hope through faith, accountability, and community. Every meal purchased helps support the organization's life-changing programs.

We'll be serving up hamburgers and hot dogs while supplies last, so be sure to come early! Friends of Sinners will also have brand-new FOS merchandise available, including shirts and hats.

Keep the Celebration Going!

The celebration continues this Saturday as Friends of Sinners hosts Unchained at Chautauqua Park in Owensboro from 10 AM until 2 PM.

Unchained is a free, family-friendly community event celebrating freedom, hope, and new beginnings. The day will feature live music, inspiring testimonies, food, bounce houses, face painting, Friends of Sinners merchandise, and a graduation celebration recognizing lives being transformed through the ministry.

Whether you're supporting someone in recovery, looking for encouragement, or simply searching for a fun family event, everyone is welcome to attend.

A big shoutout to Bakos Party Rentals for helping make WBKR Yard Party season possible year after year. They've been providing our tables and chairs for more than a decade, and we truly appreciate their continued support!
