Even though I'm a kid of the 80's, I am one of the biggest fans of the Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers. I wanted to be the Pink Ranger, and I kind was for a little while. I had pretty much every toy that was on the market, including the elusive Megazord and Goldar (Life lesson, label your stuff when you live with someone).

My friends and I decided we should make our own costumes and see if we could do some birthday parties or appearances. Wow. We were swamped with requests and it kind of took over my life. I was so dedicated to being the Pink Ranger that I added gymnastics to my martial arts practice, and I lived off of rice cakes and bananas. I read that the cast snacked on rice cakes during the filming of the movie, so I figured that I should do the same.

If you saw the Power Rangers at a local Walmart in the 90s, it was more than likely our group. Actually, one of my coworkers was telling me about the time that he met the Rangers at the Boonville Walmart - I thought he was going to pass out when I told him that I WAS the Pink Ranger!
