It's back! After being on hiatus for a couple of years because of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, ICE! is returning to Gaylord Opryland Resort in Nashville, TN this holiday season. And, this year's display will bring to life one of the most iconic and beloved Christmas stories- the story of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.

It's been six years since Rudolph decked the halls of ICE! in Nashville, but that legendary red nose always draws in huge crowds who love the story and the chance to see it brought to life in thousands of pounds of carved, colorful ice. In 2016, we toured the display and shared video of parts of it on YouTube to give folks a sneak peek inside.

Take a look!  This will give you a small sample of the magic you will experience if you visit.

Late last week, Gaylord Opryland shared the exciting news that Rudolph is about to go down in history again. He's coming back to Nashville for this year's ICE! celebration, which will open to the public on Friday, November 11th.

Of course, one of the most popular elements of each year's ICE! display is the big room that's full of ice slides.  Here's some fun footage we took back in 2011, when the ICE! theme was Madagascar. The slides were so much fun!

This year's Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer adventure will have ice slides as well. Take if from me. They seem tailor-made for children and they are. But adults should go for it too. It's a blast.

Tickets for ICE! are on sale now and Gaylord just shared a discount for Marriott Bonvoy members. Here's how to save 25% on your 2022 tickets.

ICE! runs from November 11th, 2022 through January 1st of 2023.
