Hairspray Live! promises to be a true television event, just as Fox's Grease Live! NBC's The Wiz were before it.

Hairspray Live! stars Ariana Grande, Jennifer Hudson, Dove Cameron, Kristin Chenoweth, Martin Short, Harvey Fierstein, Garrett Clayton, Shahadi Wright Joseph, Ephraim Sykes and newcomer Maddie Baillio as Tracy Turnblad.
