The Tri-State always makes the best of July 4th with some of the best fireworks shows around. Here's a list of some of the most spectacular shows you can take the family to this year!

1.) Fourth of July Celebration - Henderson
We invite you to the riverfront in downtown Henderson on July 4th for delicious food, children’s activities, terrific music and topping it off with an outstanding fireworks show! Since 2002, Independence Bank and the Downtown Henderson Partnership have worked closely to provide the Henderson community with a fabulous 4th of July fireworks show!
The Community Band will play in Audubon Mill Park beginning at 3 pm.
Food vendors will be provided by Rex’s Barbecue, R&L Concessions & Kona Ice. The food vendors will open at 5:30 P.M.
The children’s activities will be from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. in Audubon Mill Park on the Henderson Riverfront. The activities include an obstacle course provided by Party Jump Rental, Balloon Art by Daniel Herron, a petting zoo provided by Equestrian Enterprises and pony rides will also be available for $4.00.
The Firework show will begin at 9 pm. Rain date is July 5th
On Monday, July 4th thousands will flock to Downtown Evansville to celebrate Independence Day on Evansville’s spacious riverfront.
Festivities will begin at 6:00 p.m. with food vendors along Riverside Drive selling hamburgers, hotdogs, lemon shake-ups, ice-cream, kettle corn, giant tenderloins, funnel cakes, nachos, fudge, BBQ, walking tacos, cupcakes, Chicago-style hot dogs, chicken & steak fajitas, and a variety of refreshments.
A jaw-dropping 25 minute fireworks show produced by Melrose Pyrotechnics and sponsored by Tropicana Evansville and your Evansville Ford Dealers: D-Patrick Evansville Ford and Town & Country Ford will begin at dusk (approximately 8:50 -9:00 PM). Free to Attend
Saturday, June 4th, the Fireworks Rally kicks off button sales in three different locations. The Fireworks and Evening in the Park will be Saturday, July 2nd this year. It is a community event paid for by the community.
Volunteers will be offering buttons for sale at the Newburgh Farmers Market 8- noon, United Fidelity Community Days 10 am – 1 pm and Schnucks 10 am -2 pm . They are only $5.00 each and give individuals an opportunity to help pay for the fireworks.
Button holders are invited to sit in the VIP area which is the lawn west of the Old Lock and Dam Building. But more important there is a satisfaction in knowing that you played a part in our Independence Day Celebration. It is not just about fireworks!
View the fireworks from the beautiful Ohio Riverfront as the City of Owensboro celebrates the Fourth of July with music from the Owensboro Symphony Orchestra and concludes with fireworks shot off from a barge in the Ohio River. Gates open at 6 pm, followed by speeches, Color Guard, and fireworks accompanied by patriotic music at 9. 270-687-8700
Wear your red, white and blue and show your patriotism. Enter our pie eating contest, golf cart, or whatever you’re driving decorating contest. Cruise around the park in our patriotic parade and on July 3rd we’ll celebrate with our fabulous fireworks display.
