Here's proof there are still good people in the world.

After the events in Connecticut on Friday, it's easy to sit back, shake your head, and just assume that we as a people and culture have hit rock bottom and that we may never see the light again. That the acts of one unstable individual is the new norm in this country and that we should always keep one eye open when we sleep.

Then you see stories like this. Stories that show the tragedy in Newtown is not the norm and there are good people out there making dreams come true. People that inspire the rest of us to not accept random acts of violence as an unfortunate consequence of our current left-side / right-side culture.

To these firefighters, I say, "Bravo!" and "Thank You!"
