Drake Helps Fan Karaoke to ‘What’s My Name?’
Drake was at the right place at the right time to help a fellow karaoker in need. While eating his meal at the Saddle Ranch restaurant in downtown Los Angeles, he decided to help a female fan sing Rihanna‘s hit single, ‘What’s My Name?’ The best part? A fellow patron was on hand to catch the performance on video.
In the clip, the fan (named “Dee”) was singing the “Na-Na, what’s my name” part when Drizzy came onstage to rap his opening verse on the song. After reciting his rhymes he sat down to watch her finish the rest of the tune. If you listen closely you can also hear an obnoxious dude in the crowd telling her to forget about Drake and come join him at the bar. “Forget that n—a, come over here,” he screamed. We didn’t know doofuses go to karaoke bars.
In other news, Drake was spotted Wednesday (Dec. 28) hanging out at a shopping center in the affluent suburbs of Calabasas, Calif. According to Rap-Up, the Canadian rapper and his entourage visited a few clothing stores and got some grub at the Marmalade Cafe. Drizzy was dressed really casual in his black OVO-embroidered T-shirt and black sweatpants. Judging by the photos, it looks like he wasn’t feeling all the camera attention he was getting by the paparazzi.
Before Drake hit the west coast, he was in Miami to record songs and shoot a video for Rick Ross‘ mixtape track ‘Rich Forever.’ Drizzy will celebrate the new year in Las Vegas with a concert performance on New Year’s Day at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.
It looks like a Drake is on an Award Tour. We ain’t mad at him.
