Have you ever seen someone on the street, homeless and wondered what you could possibly do to help them? This couple has a brilliant idea!

If you are like me you have encountered someone homeless, living on the streets and wished there was some way that you could help. The couple in this video has, what I believe to be a great idea to help. Rather than giving someone a $10 or $20 bill, or a fast food burger and fries, with little nutritional value, try a backpack of supplies. In the video, the couple will explain how they "build" these backpacks for less than $20 a piece. This is a great way to help someone in their time of need. Now, I am not suggesting that you rush out & pack up 200 backpacks, but what if we all made just one to carry with us to give away when the time was right? Think of the difference we could make...

If you are interested in helping in the Evansville community, you can make donations to the United Caring Shelter or even volunteer your time in their kitchen to prepare a meal for the residents there.
