Child Stars Turned Pop Stars

I was watching a show on VH1 talking about how Selena Gomez went from a shy child actor on the Barney Show to a multi-million dollar recording and television star and all the people she met along the way!

It turns out that her and Demi Lovato auditioned and were both on the Barney Show as children and have been friends ever since. It seems the formula is to take a child actor, teach her how to sing, give her a TV show and rake in the big bucks! Disney did the exact same thing with Brittany Spears and Justin Timberlake. Maybe I should take one of my boys down to the Sesame Street set and see if we can get PAID!
