Take a half-day off work and hit the links with me for a good cause!

The 12th annual United Caring Services golf scramble is set for Thursday, September 19th at my favorite course to play in the Evansville area, Eagle Valley. The day begins with registration and lunch at 11:30am, followed by a 1pm tee time, and concludes with dinner at 5:30.

Registration can be done online through their website for $75 per person or $300 per four-person team. The money raised from the event will go toward the organization's mission to "provide safety, shelter, food, life coaching, and hope" to the poor, homeless, and vulnerable.

If you'd like to play, but don't have a team, then I invite you to come play with me and my good friend, Bobby G, from our sister-station, 103GBF. The question is, how much are you willing to spend?

Here's the deal, we have two open spots in our foursome, because we're the only two DJ's in the building who play golf, and we'd love for you to play with us, but we also want to raise as much money as we can for the United Caring Services. So we decided to place the two open slots up on the auction block and let you bid on them. Since you'd be paying $75 if you registered on your own through United Caring Services, we'll start the bidding there.

Bidding runs through September 13th, with the two highest bidders joining Bobby and I on the course. It should be noted that neither Bobby nor I are great golfers by any stretch of the imagination, we just like to get out and enjoy a day on the course. If that sounds like you, bid away!

The winning bidders will be contacted by a representative of United Caring Services to set up payment.

TOP BID CURRENTLY STANDS AT $200
