Never has a sporting event gotten underway with such a show of cuteness.

Trent Harris, the 2-year-old son of Cincinnati Bengals long snapper Clark Harris, sang the "The Star-Spangled Banner" before a recent basketball game between Southern Regional High School and Pinelands Regional High School in New Jersey.

The proud papa leads Trent out to the court before walking away and letting his son put on a solo performance to a smattering of laughter and a round of thundering applause after he wrapped up the song.

Give it up for Trent, who seems oblivious to the crowd and goes about his business of belting out the song. We think he ought to take his talents to The Voice. We'd root for him.
