Register Here to Win Tickets to the 20th Annual Forecastle Festival in Louisville, KY
What originally started, in 2002, as a small gathering of local musicians, has turned into one of the premier music and art festivals each year. We're talking about the FORECASTLE FESTIVAL, which celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2022. Nearly 50 artists, from all styles and genres of music, will be at this year's event, being held over Memorial Day Weekend at Waterfront Park in Louisville, KY.
Let's talk about tickets to this 3-day festival. You can choose a 1-day pass (starting at $100 each) or a 3-day pass (starting at $225). Purchase tickets here. I'm here to tell you that KISS 106 is giving you the chance to win a pair of those 3-day passes. I'll tell you how to register in just a minute, but first, let's take a look at the huge lineup of musicians.
Forecastle Day One - May 27th
Headlining day one of Forecastle (Friday, May 27th) is rapper, and Louisville native, JACK HARLOW, who first made a name for himself with the 2020 release of "What's Poppin" which made it to #2 on the Billboard Hot 100. Jack had even more success in 2021 when he teamed up with Lil' Nas X on the #1 hit "Industry Baby."
Forecastle Day Two - May 28th
Leading the way on Saturday, May 28th is TAME IMPALA, a one-man band that comes from the land down under. Kevin Parker is the main man behind Tame Impala, writing, recording, performing, and producing all of the music. I'll admit I don't know much about Tame Impala, but I do know that our buddy Ron Rhodes, meteorologist for WEHT, is a big fan - he has mentioned them on more than one occasion.
Forecastle Day Three - May 29th
The final day of the festival is headlined by a young man named Tyler Gregory Okonma, better known TYLER, THE CREATOR. The 30-year-old rapper and producer seems like a music industry veteran at this point - he released his debut project back in 2009.
