Warmer temperatures means opening windows around the house and getting outside to enjoy the fresh air. It also means local produce crops are ready to harvest and sell at the annual Farmer's Market in downtown Evansville!

This year's market will once again take place in the grass lot at the corner of 2nd and Sycamore Streets which is also home to the new Bru Burger restaurant in the old Greyhound building.

According the the Downtown Evansville Farmer's Market website, the 2017 market will be open every Friday, rain or shine, from 8:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. beginning May 19th and will run through September 29th. By the look of photos from last year's run on the Market's Facebook page, this year's market will once again not only feature locally grown produce, but other locally made items including barbecue sauce, soap, wine, and more.
