What Was the Most Popular App in 2011?

The answer may surprise you, but Apple has confirmed it. The most downloaded app in the iTunes Store this year wasn't Angry Bird or Words With Friends.  It wasn't even a game at all.  Downoaded over 14 MILLION times in 2011, photo-editing app Instagram was the most popular app of the year!
