What Should Replace Nieto’s Mexican Express Near Eastland Mall?

Back in 2009, Abuelo's underwent renovations to their Green River Rd location, and became Nieto's Mexican Express. From what I can remember, Nieto's didn't stay in business very long. Fun fact, doing some research for this blog, and I found some online coupons for Nieto's LOL!

Anyway, this building has been vacant for way too long. There are so many places that would be perfect in that location.

1. BJ's Brewhouse 

This is by far, my favorite restaurant that Evansville doesn't have. The closest location is Louisville, KY. I love the flatbread pizzas, mashed potatoes, Pizookie, salmon, and they have an amazing Gluten Free menu!

2. Pollo Tropical

I fell in love with Pollo Tropical when we lived in Orlando. This is a fast food restaurant, but it doesn't taste like it! My go-to order is the Tropichop with grilled chicken, brown rice & lettuce, with mashed potatoes and mac & cheese sides. I just found out that they closed several locations recently, so this may need to go to the bottom of the list, but I still love it.

3. Flippers Pizzeria

Everytime we visit Orlando, I have to get a calzone and breadsticks from Flippers! I'm sure that everything they offer is delicious, but I can't bring myself to order anything else!
