It's Mister Rogers like you've never hear him before.

If you grew up a child of the late '70's, early '80's as I did, you no doubt spent countless hours in front of the TV watch Mister Rogers' Neighborhood on PBS. A show that started well before I became a member of the human race (1968) to well after I was too old to care about it anymore (2001).

Thanks to a partnership between PBS Digital Studios and Symphony of Science's John D. Boswell, our childhood friend, Fred Rogers has been given a modernized, auto-tuned, reboot of his popular song "Garden of Your Mind".

Featuring a slow, R & B beat, and a variety of clips from episodes of the show, PBS and Boswell create jam that would make T-Pain proud. Even if Rogers' wide-eyed facial expression during the chorus does come off a little creepy.

The good news is that PBS and Boswell have plans to re-work other classic songs from PBS icons. Does that mean we can expect a gangsta rap version of "Doo-Wop Hop" by Kermit the Frog? I certainly hope so.
