Uber Hosting Information Session in Evansville for Interested Drivers This Week
The announcement a couple of weeks ago that Uber was finally coming to Evansville sent ripples of joy throughout the city for residents looking for an alternative to calling a cab for a ride home. It also put dollar signs in the eyes of those looking to earn some extra cash. For the latter of those two groups, a representative for the popular ride-sharing service will be in Evansville on Wednesday and Thursday to host "information sessions" to provide details on what it takes to be an Uber Driver.
According to information released by Growth Alliance for a Greater Evansville, the sessions are scheduled for the following times and locations:
(Click location for map and driving directions)
- Wednesday, December 14th from 10:00-11:00 a.m. - Innovation Pointe
- Wednesday, December 14th from 5:30-6:30 p.m. - Innovation Pointe
- Thursday, December 15th from 5:30-6:30 p.m. - Evansville Regional Airport

Sessions are expected to last approximately 45 minutes.
