Two of music's most reknowned producers are trying to start a "movement" in June.

Missy Elliott and Timabaland have been responsible for some of the baddest beats from yesterday, and they are still hard at work in the studio.  The two have been friends for a long time, dating back to their pre-fame days as neighbors in Virginia.

Timbaland and Missy will release albums on the same day in June, Tim tells MTV. However, they are not working together on any music.  It will be two independent albums, but they will be marketed and promoted somewhat jointly.

The artists are referring to their venture as a "spontaneous movement."  Timbaland released Shock Value II three years ago.  Elliott released The Cookbook seven years ago.

Are you excited to hear new music from Missy and Timbaland?
