You may be familiar with the iconic "See Rock City" signs that line the highway on the way to Chattanooga, TN, but have you ever actually seen Rock City? It's a GREAT stop for a weekend trip.

See Rock City Girls' Trip!

I visited for the first time last year while on a bachelorette trip. My friend Brooklyn was the bride, and while she LOVES spending time in the great outdoors, some of us weren't down for a Bear Grylls experience. Rock City was the perfect place. We all enjoyed being outside because it was easy to navigate, yet still exciting to explore.

Rock City is Outdoor Fun For Everyone

As you walk along the path, you will see sculptures, funky bridges, and signs with stories about the area. It is an easy trail, but you definitely need to be able to navigate steps, uneven surfaces, and a short swinging bridge to explore everything. There were people of all abilities enjoying various parts of the experience, which was nice to see!

See Rock City After Dark

I recently learned that Rock City likes to stay open late when the weather is nice. From now through summer, you can "See Rock City" after dark! Art installations start to glow as the sun goes down each day. I bet it is totally magical seeing the sculptures and waterfalls lit up like a fairy playland.

Date Night at Rock City

Rock City is the perfect mix of breathtaking natural beauty, creativity, and hidden treasures within caves. One of the most stunning views is at Lookout Mountain, where you can see seven states at once. Imagine sitting and watching the sun go down while enjoying dinner and cocktails. That would be amazing! I hope my husband is reading this. A date on Lover's Leap sounds lovely.
