Crown Hill Cemetery

Located in Indianapolis is Crown Hill Cemetery.  Crown Hill Cemetery is the oldest urban green space in the city, so along with being a final resting place for many Hoosiers, it's also a setting for some gorgeous scenery.  The cemetery itself is huge, and according to Crown Hill, when you step into the cemetery, it's like taking a step back in time:

Famous Final Resting Places

Crown Hill is known for many notable names who call Crown Hill their final resting place.  For instance, Crown Hill is where the 23rd President of the United States, Benjamin Harrison was laid to rest.

James Whitcomb Riley who is known as the Hoosier Poet was also laid to rest in Crown Hill Cemetery.  According to Crown Hill, his famous works include “Little Orphant Annie” and “The Raggedy Man” which served as the inspiration behind the Broadway musical Annie and the Raggedy Ann books and dolls.

Hauntingly Beautiful Photoshoot Inspired by Evansville's Grey Lady

Evansville's most notorious ghost is no doubt the Grey Lady. The Grey Lady is said to roam the halls of Willard Library, and stir up a little mischief every now and then.
