The Haunts of Owensboro Conjures Some Spooky Changes for 2020 Tours
Tis the season for a diabolical and haunted tour of downtown Owensboro. David Wolfe's popular The Haunts of Owensboro tours have returned and, this year, will feature some fun and spooky changes, including some "hands-on" ghost hunting!
It's been a few years since I have attended one of David's tours. Downtown Owensboro is rich with history and David is an expert at tapping into the paranormal elements of that history. He plans to continue that tradition this year and has lined up some new stops along the way, including a house along Owensboro's "Haunted Row" that looks just like the Michael Myer's house from Halloween.
If you are interested in booking a Haunts of Owensboro tour, the price is $15 for ages 12+. Anyone under the age of 12 costs $10.
This year, David's tour will begin here! Ghostly Productions is located at 203 West Second Street and features Halloween costumes, oddities, a horrifying replica of Annabelle and ghost stories of its own.
The 2020 will feature eight to ten stops and David promises it will be one of the scariest tours he's ever hosted. There are haunted legends of local Victorian houses, tales from a local funeral home and a visit to Theatre Workshop, which is rumored to be one of the most haunted sites in western Kentucky.
Obviously, due to COVID-19, David is taking necessary social-distancing precautions and reminds ghost hunters they to wear masks inside the establishments on the tour. However, the majority of the tour takes place comfortably outside.
If you're brave enough to experience the historic haunted legends of downtown Owensboro, you can book your Haunts of Owensboro tour by calling David Wolfe at 270-313-5596. Tours are available every Friday and Saturday night through the first weekend of November.
