French Lick Resort has re-opened the infamous bowling and billiards pavilion. After lengthy renovations, the pavilion is re-opened to the public for the first time in over 90 years.
This will not be surprising to you even a little bit, but I've never been considered trendy. That means there's something I do not have in common with an Illinois place that is one of the fastest-growing in America as they combine Italian food, bowling and bocce ball into one experience.
The Kingpins Bowl has sat vacant since closing its doors for the last time in July 2016. See photos taken years later revealing the state of rot and decay as the building and its contents were left abandoned.
