Starbucks Announces New Downtown Evansville Location

Coffee lovers who live or work in downtown Evansville have reason to celebrate as the popular coffee chain, Starbucks has announced they'll be adding a new location to the area.

According to the Evansville 411 Facebook page, Starbucks announced a new location was coming to downtown a year ago, but offered no specific details as to where. We now know, thanks to paperwork filed with the Indiana Department of Homeland Security, the new location will be at the Double Tree Hotel on the corner of Sixth and Walnut Streets downtown.

The new store will be the eighth Evansville location for the coffee giant. They also have a location in Newburgh at the intersection of Highway 66 and 261, and one in Henderson on the Highway 41 strip.
