Selfie Sticks Banned at Coachella + Lollapalooza
Put aside any thoughts of capturing the perfect far-off selfie at your music festival of choice this year; Coachella and Lollapalooza, two giants in the music festival arena, have banned selfie sticks at their events.
Coachella's list of prohibited items now includes pets, umbrellas, video cameras, drones, knives/weapons and two au courant new additions: selfie sticks and narcissists. Babies are still chill, though.
Like the celebrity-studded Indio, California event, Lollapalooza prohibits "Go Pro attachments like sticks, selfie sticks & monopads."
While you may not be able to take a perfectly angled shot of your best duck face at one of these shows, you can still selfie all you'd like as long as you're willing to do it the old fashioned way.
We suspect more and more music festivals will start banning the (admittedly useful) selfie sticks, so be sure to take all the perfectly calibrated pictures of yourself in your best festival gear before heading out to the shows.
