I can't imagine being an animal stuck in a natural disaster. They are terrified and have no control over what happens to them. Thankfully, many dogs that were displaced from the hurricane earlier this year were brought to the Warrick Humane Society - a no kill shelter. And though the folks at WHS do amazing work - being in a shelter just isn't home!

Meet Quincy

Quincy was one of those displaced dogs. He's is a three-year-old Terrier mix who came to the WHS during our hurricane disaster relief efforts. He has been waiting for his forever family for over three months.

What did the WHS Say About Quincy?

Quincy is loving and sweet but has a lot of energy. Who wouldn't if you lived in a shelter? Quincy does give gentle kisses and is working on manners. They said he's eager to please though and training him won't be hard.

They also suggested bringing any dogs you have in to meet and greet. He can be selective but does great with dogs he likes.
