Police Searching for Suspect in Connection with Home Robbery on Evansville’s East Side

Evansville Police are seeking the public's help in locating the suspect believed to be involved in a home invasion on July 16th.

An arrest warrant for Hakeem A. Wilson was issued after investigators determined he broke into a house on East Illinois Street in Evansville with a loaded handgun which he pointed at the occupants. Police also say he battered a former girlfriend who was at the home at the time of the break in.

Wilson is facing charges of armed burglary, intimidation with a weapon, battery and pointing a loaded weapon, and is considered armed and dangerous.
