newborn baby

As a kid I used to hate my real name (which I will NOT be sharing, thank you)! But as I got older I learned to appreciate it and even name one of my children after me. Naming a child is usually the first big decision a new parent makes, and one that almost one and ten would like to do be able to do again.

A new survey by Your Domain Name has found that eight percent of all parents admit to baby naming remorse, which is up from the three percent of those in a 2007 poll who reported regretting the name they gave their child.

While the majority of the regretful parents in the Your Domain Name poll say their mistake was giving their child a name that was too trendy or fashionable, 32 percent said the problem was that the name they decided on ended up being more common than they thought it was.

Do you regret the names you've given your children?
