Ah, the taste of nostalgia. Sometimes the things we crave don't exist anymore or they are 2,000 miles away. Back in the day, Noble Roman's Pizza had locations all over Evansville. The corporate office was located in Indianapolis, and there was even a mascot, that was literally a monster, named after the deep dish pizza. Wow, did that costume smell! Oh, I should mention that one of my first jobs was as a Shift Manager at Noble Roman's in Princeton, Indiana There is a Donut Bank there now. I trained at North Park, so I know what I'm talking about.
Hey There Monster, my old friend...
The Westside location of Noble Roman's Craft Pizza & Pub dropped this photo of a familiar face. The Monster was the mascot of Noble Roman's Pizza, and now he's back to roll out the Monster Pizza.

May 1981 - A New Lunchtime Thriller at Noble Roman's
We know them as the Pan One or personal pizzas, but in 1981, the lunchtime go-to was 'Son of Monster'. It's pretty clear why that name didn't stick.
Noble Roman's Pizza incorporated children into the next series of television commercials. I really think that these are the kids from Walt Disney World's It's a Small World Ride.

30 Bizarre (and Real) Indiana High School Mascots
According to High School.com, there are 682 high schools in Indiana. 555 of those are public schools, while the remaining 127 are private. A majority of those schools have chosen typical mascots to represent them, like eagles, tigers, lions, jets, patriots, and so on and so forth. But, these 30 schools decided to go, well, a different direction.
