One Ohio city is bringing the arts and light displays spanning over 30 city blocks and it is totally free to everyone who wants to enjoy the fun.

WHAT IS BLINK?

Blink is the Nation's Largest light, art, and projection show and it is back for a third year in Cincinnati.

BLINK® will span from Findlay Market in the Over-the-Rhine neighborhood through downtown Cincinnati and into Covington, Kentucky – bridging two states, and spanning 30 city blocks and the Ohio River. The only U.S. event of its kind, BLINK® will feature 39 large-scale projection mappings, 16 new murals by national and international artists, interactive light sculptures and diverse entertainment.

WHAT TO EXPECT

The event lasts four nights and it is totally free to all who want to attend.  It starts at 7 p.m. each night and ends at 11 p.m. from October 13-16.

There is so much to do from Live Entertainment to food vendors, murals, light sculptures, performers, and so much more.

One mural that is being created for the festival will actually stay around even after the fun is over to grace the city.

According to CityBeat.com;

Also during the festival, Greek artist Insane51 will be doing a mural with projections mapping from goDutch. Max Sansing will be creating a mural as part of the ArtsWave’s Flow Series with projection mapping from Cincinnati-based Chaske Haverkos. Cincinnati’s sister city Kharkiv, Ukraine, will also be honored with a mural from local artist Jenny Ustick.

In addition, there will be a slew of interactive light-based installations, including Empower’s “See Yourself in Light” exhibit in which participants can turn themselves into art using their own digital photo data, plus an augmented and virtual reality experience tribute to Breonna Taylor developed by Lady Pheønix in partnership with Cincy Nice and more. Visit blinkcincinnati.com for a full list of participants.

Don't miss out on the parade.  It is magical from what I hear and can you imagine a parade at night in lights?
