On Friday, 106-1 KISS-FM partnered with our friends at News 25 for a live broadcast at Walgreen's on the corner of 2nd & Green St. in Henderson to offer NOAA weather radios at a discount price and have representatives from News 25 program them for free.

You see these weather radios don't come out of the box ready to go. Every county in the tri-state is assigned a code by the National Weather Service that needs to be programmed into the radio so it knows when to alert you to severe weather. For some, it can be a difficult chore. That's why News 25 Chief Meteorologist Wayne Hart along with meteorologist Scott Dimmich and News Director Mark Glover were all present to lend a helping hand and input the codes for everyone who bought a radio during the broadcast.
