Niko’s Bakery Searching For Local Artists (GALLERY)

Niko's Bakery here in Owensboro just recently celebrated two years under new ownership and they are wanting to add a bit more of a hometown feel to the inside.

When you walk into the bakery and cafe in Wesleyan Park Plaza one of the first things you might notice is the wide variety of different paintings, wall hangings, pictures, and much more at any given time.

The art is put on display by Niko's from local artists in our community.  Niko's lets them showcase and sell their art to the public that comes to visit the bakery.

We absolutely LOVE hosting local art in the bakery. And we need MORE!! We are blown away at how quickly some of these pieces sell. We are happy to provide a free outlet for artists to display and sell their work. No commission. No fees. Just art enhancing the community. Want to bring in your art? Keep in mind they do have limited space for pottery and such right now but please contact them to get in on the rotation of art.

Owensboro has so many talented local artists.  This is the perfect place for an up-and-coming artist to venture out and try something new.

If you would like to stop by and check out the art already on display they are open 7 a.m - 6 p.m. Monday - Friday and 7 a.m.- 2 p.m. on Saturdays.
