If you or someone you know has the talent to be on NBC's show The Voice, the show is hosting virtual auditions at the end of next week. In fact, it will be the last virtual open call auditions of the season.  They're scheduled for February 4th and 5th.  Here's the official social media post from The Voice Casting:

If you're interested in reserving your audition space, CLICK HERE!  The link will take you to The Voice's official site, where you can create your Artist Account.  Once you do that, you'll be able to choose a date and time for YOUR virtual audition.  And this is cool.  Once you're signed up, you'll be able to watch your countdown begin.

Here's what you need to prepare (from The Voice website):

  • Have a verse and chorus of 1 song prepared for your audition.
  • You will have 1:30 (one minute thirty seconds) for your audition.
  • Use this time to 1) Introduce yourself, 2) Tell us which song you're going to sing, and 3) Sing your song.
  • You may sing a cappella, accompany yourself with an instrument, or sing to a track.
  • If you are playing an instrument or singing to a track, have everything ready to go BEFORE you enter the virtual audition room.

In order to audition, you must be at least 13-years-old.  And, remember!  The Voice website encourages you to look and sound your best!  Plus, the site offers a variety of other audition tips.  For some insider tips, CLICK HERE!

Again, these open call auditions are for Season 21 of The Voice, which will be premiering sometime in the Fall of 2021.  Season 20 of the show, with Blake Shelton, Kelly Clarkson, John Legend and Nick Jonas. will debut in late February or early March.

Good luck!  If you or someone you know auditions and advances further through the process, please let us to know.  We'd love to share your audition story here at WBKR, WBKR.com and the WBKR app.
