Moonlite Bar-B-Q is NOT Opening a New Location in Evansville

If you have been on Facebook today, you likely have stumbled across a post that suggests that Owensboro's world famous Moonlite Bar-B-Q is opening a second location in Evansville, Indiana.  That post, despite being shared over one thousand times, is completely fake news.

According to Moonlite's Kenny Bosley, this story is absolutely fake!  The restaurant has been flooded with calls and emails due to this story and owners and employees are encouraging everyone to be rest assured that it's a complete fabrication.

For the record, we reached out to Tony the Roofer for a comment regarding the creation of his post, but he has not yet responded to our request.  **Update: We were contacted and informed that the post, which published to social media at 10:49pm on March 30th, was intended to be an April Fool's Day prank.**
