Man Pleads Not Guilty to Burgling Miley Cyrus’ House
Stay safe, Miley Cyrus!
E! News reports that the singer's house was burgled on Dec. 16. The incident was the second time Miley's house was robbed in 2014, the first being on May 30.
According to E! News, on Jan. 6, 22-year-old Rusty Edward Sellner plead not guilty to the more recent burglary of Miley's Toluca Lake, Calif. house. The thief reportedly made off with things that belonged to both Miley and her brother. However, it is not clear what specifically was stolen.
E! News reports that the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office charged Sellner with "one felony count apiece of first-degree residential burglary, receiving stolen property and grand theft." Sellner allegedly could face up to seven years and eight months in prison if he's convicted. He reportedly has two prior convictions on his record for burglary and evading arrest.
We imagine this must be a hard time for Miley. We hope that justice is served -- and that trespassers stay off of her property.
