Mariah Carey Really Wants to Collab With Cardi B and Lil’ Kim
First of all, If you've yet to stream or download Mariah Carey's new Caution album, what are you doing with your life?
The legendary chanteuse stopped by Watch What Happens Live to chat with Andy Cohen on Monday night (November 19) and while there were plenty of fun moments, one in particular has us geeking out.
When Andy read a fan question asking if Mariah would ever collaborate with rapper Cardi B., the icon dropped an idea that has the Lambily shaking.
"I would love for that to happen," Mariah replied without hesitation. "The song you guys were just playing, 'A No No,' was originally Lil' Kim's song – We LOVE Lil' Kim – I was hoping that the three of us could do a collaboration," Mariah revealed.
"A No No," off Mariah's new album, samples Lil' Kim's iconic 1997 hit "Crush On You." Since the song's release in October fans have been practically begging Mariah for a remix with Lil' Kim. Well, she just upped the ante by suggesting Cardi hop on something, too.
"If nobody puts it together it's not gonna happen. Things happen real quick these days, you never know," Mariah added, just to ease the pain in the tragic event the trio don't get to team up for some magic.
As Mariah herself sings on "A No No," "Get Shapiro on the phone – Case closed!"
