What a difference a year makes. This time last year, we were wondering how we could possibly have summer fun while in quarantine. Then, of course, we figured that by the holiday season, we would be free to celebrate with family and go to events. The pandemic put the brakes on all of that, but 2021 has switched tracks (Train pun, you can laugh).

Last year, The Polar Express Train Ride was canceled. If you had tickets for the 2020 train ride, you should have received an email and a letter in the mail with details on the event.

Thankfully, The French Lick Scenic Railway has The Polar Express Train Ride back on the schedule. You can see the available dates and train times here.

Tickets officially go on sale Wednesday, June 16, 2021, at 9:00 A.M. Eastern / 8:00 A.M. Central time. The train runs weekends from November 5, 2021, through December 29, 2021.

VERY IMPORTANT: All times on their site are Eastern. That means 1 hour ahead of Central time.

I highly recommend taking your family at least once. You get to wear your pajamas, drink hot chocolate and eat cookies! Chase especially liked the dancing elves, and I'm afraid he might really like them now that he's 13. Teenagers...Am I right? But seriously, it is one of the best ways to get into the Christmas spirit. I will warn you, the tickets will sell fast, so you'll want to be ready to purchase them online as soon as they go on sale.
