Live Action Voltron Movie

As most of you that know me already know that I'm a still a big kid at heart that loves to watch cartoons. One of my favorite of all time was Voltron - Defender of the Universe. If you don't know what Voltron is, its a cartoon about a giant robot that is formed by combining 5 robot battle lions together. It was very popular in the late 80's and early 90's , until they tried to revamp it by changing from robot lions to 15 different vehicles that combined to form a "new" Voltron. That's  when the show started to suck!

But, to my fancy, the movie gods have decided to make a "live-action" version of the Lion Voltron! I can't wait to see how they do it. The're have been a few cartoons that I wished would have made it to the big screen, but the technology to pull them off just wasn't available. I just hope they don't blow it like they did with SMURFS (which absolutely sucked)!

I also heard that they are re-making Thundercats for television. I remember rushing home from school at break neck speed just to catch the last 15 minute of the show when I was a kid!
