As amusement parks continue to reopen around the country, Kings Island (just outside Cincinnati, Ohio) has just announced their plans to reopen for the season.  That announcement this morning on the park's official Facebook page.

Kings Island will open on July 2nd and remain open through July 11th exclusively for season pass holders.  The park will then open to the general public (daily ticketholders) on Sunday, July 12th.

One important change to operating procedures this year involves an online reservation system that requires thrill seekers to make reservations in advance of their arrival at the park. For more information on additional changes to daily operating procedures prompted by the COVID-19 pandemic, CLICK HERE!  Be advised that temperature screenings will take place and social distancing markers will be in place throughout the park.

When the park opens, Kings Island will be unveiling its highly-anticipated new attraction.  It's Orion- the park's first giga coaster.  It looks massive, fast and freaking amazing!

What do you think?  Are YOU ready to ride?  I know I am.  In fact, I think I need to check out the new reservation system and go ride that thing as soon as possible.
