What the Cluck? There’s a Chicken in Kentucky Named Morgan Wallen!
There's a clear resemblance, right?
Country music star Morgan Wallen, meet chicken coop star Morgan Wallen. Chicken coop star Morgan Wallen, meet country music sensation Morgan Wallen- your namesake.
Morgan Wallen (the feathered one) belongs to Andrea Nantz of Philpot, Kentucky. Andrea is THE most devoted Morgan Wallen fan that I have ever met. Her love affair with the country music star began the first time she heard the song "Whiskey Glasses."
Yeah, that's the song. That's the one that did her in.
Andrea says she heard that song, found some photos of Morgan and "just couldn't stop listening to his music."
I guess you could say the hen was immediately smitten with that particular rooster. Today, Andrea owns some really fun swag that shows just how devoted she is. She has a small makeup bag sporting her 'future' name.
And she's planned ahead and gotten her own "personalized" license plate too. While she hasn't mounted that on her vehicle yet, she's about to and will drive around Daviess County with it proudly displayed. And why wouldn't she? She's the future Mrs. Wallen.
And while 'Whiskey Glasses" is the song that sealed the deal for Andrea, her all-time favorite Morgan Wallen song is his most recent. When I saw Andrea recently at Brasher's Lil' Nashville in downtown Owensboro, she confessed that she LOVES this one!
I suppose it makes sense that she named one of her newest chickens 'Morgan Wallen'. But it's important to note that Andrea does have some other country music favorites as well. In fact, if you take a trip out to her chicken coop in Philpot, Kentucky, you'll see that Morgan Wallen (the one with the beak) has some fine-feathered country friends as well.
Here they are!
