Kat’s Review of Sweet Bettys Bakery on Evansville’s East Side
On Sunday, my daughter turned 14 and we visited Sweet Bettys Bakery on Evansville's East side to celebrate! Find out what we thought about our experience
When we walked into Sweet Bettys Bakery, we were immediately transported back in time. It felt like we had stepped into 1952.
While we were picking out our cupcake flavors and old fashion sodas we were taken aback by just how cool this place is!
Everything is retro. We were immediately in love with the decor. With everything from the old Kitchen-aid mixer to the black cat clock with the swinging tail & moving eyes, it looks like something out of an old movie or television series. In fact, the kitchen area reminds me so much of my grandmother's kitchen!
Elizabeth and I opted for the red velvet cupcakes with cream cheese icing. I had an old fashioned cream soda, and she enjoyed an ice cold Bubble Up!
Not only do they have tasty treats daily, they also offer custom cakes, and a wide array of collectibles and gift ideas! From the official Sweet Bettys Bakery Facebook Page:
Sweet Bettys Bakery is an avant-garde boutique and bakery with a vintage flair. The boutique will offer an eclectic mix of merchandise that reflects Andrea’s love of baking, vintage style and Los Angeles culture. The bakery will offer classic baked goods, unique sugar creations, and custom-designed cakes. Quality, personalized service, and a distinctive retail experience are the foundations on which Sweet Bettys Bakery was built. Our goal is to always leave our customers smiling.
All and all we had a very positive experience at Sweet Bettys Bakery and will definitely be back soon! I can't wait to try the other cupcakes!
